Free Plan Questions

The free plan includes access to a broad set of ZeroTwo features:
  • Chat with standard AI models — GPT-5-mini, Gemini Flash Lite, Mistral Small, Grok 4 Fast, and others (up to 20 messages/day)
  • Web search — 1 search per day
  • Image generation — 1 image per day via the Studio
  • Deep research — 1 deep research report per day
  • Canvas Mode — full canvas editor with all 7 editor types
  • Voice chat — voice sessions with microphone access
  • 1 project — organize chats and files in one project
  • File uploads — 1 file per message request
  • Memory — up to 5 memories for personalization
  • Skills and connectors — access to ZeroTwo’s connector integrations
Premium (rate-limited) models like Claude Sonnet, GPT-5, Gemini 2.5 Pro, and Grok-4 require a Pro plan or above. The free plan uses standard fallback models which are still highly capable for most tasks.

The Free plan is limited to 1 project as part of the plan’s feature scope. Projects are an organizational container for related chats, files, and custom instructions.To create unlimited projects, upgrade to Pro or above. All paid plans include unlimited projects.Your 1 free project can still contain an unlimited number of chats and files — the limit is only on the number of separate project containers you can create.
Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time, and the upgrade takes effect immediately.
  • Your new plan’s limits (higher message quota, premium model access, etc.) are available right away
  • You’re charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle when upgrading from Free to a paid plan
  • Your billing cycle resets to the upgrade date
There’s no penalty or delay — upgrading mid-month gets you full plan access instantly.
Yes. All of the free plan’s daily limits reset at midnight UTC every day. This includes:
  • Daily message count (resets to 20)
  • Web search (resets to 1)
  • Image generation (resets to 1)
  • Deep research (resets to 1)

Yes. ZeroTwo is committed to maintaining a free tier as a permanent part of the product. Accessibility to AI tools is a core value.Specific limits and features in the free tier may be adjusted over time as the platform evolves, but a meaningful free experience will always be available.
When you’ve sent your 20th message on the free plan:
  • You’ll see a notification that your daily limit has been reached
  • The chat input will be disabled until the reset
  • You cannot send additional messages until midnight UTC resets the count
Your options when you hit the limit:
  1. Wait for the midnight UTC reset — free and costs nothing
  2. Upgrade to a paid plan — Pro and above have significantly higher or unlimited message quotas, and the upgrade takes effect immediately
If you frequently hit the 20 message limit, the Pro plan’s 555 premium messages/month (plus unlimited standard model messages) is a significant step up.
