Viewing your memories
Open Settings → Personalization
Click the gear icon in the sidebar to open Settings, then click Personalization.
Editing a memory
ZeroTwo sometimes infers memories that are slightly inaccurate or outdated. You can correct them directly:- In Settings → Personalization → Memory, find the memory you want to edit
- Click the memory to select it
- Edit the text to correct it
- Click Save
- Your role or location has changed
- A preference ZeroTwo inferred isn’t quite right
- A project you were working on has ended and the description needs updating
Deleting individual memories
To remove a specific memory:- In Settings → Personalization → Memory, find the memory
- Click the memory to open it
- Click Delete
- Confirm the deletion
Deleting a memory doesn’t prevent ZeroTwo from re-learning it if you mention the same information again in a future conversation. To prevent a specific fact from being re-learned, you can add a custom instruction telling ZeroTwo not to track it.
Clearing all memories
To delete every saved memory at once:- Go to Settings → Personalization → Memory
- Click Clear All
- Confirm the action
Exporting memories
Your memories are included in ZeroTwo’s full data export:- Go to Settings → Data Controls
- Click Export Data
- ZeroTwo generates a downloadable file (JSON format) that includes all your memory data, along with other account data
- Keeping a personal record before deleting memories
- Reviewing exactly what ZeroTwo has learned about you
- Migrating or backing up your personalization data
Manual memory import is not currently supported. Memories can be exported but must be rebuilt through conversation if you start a new account. Your export file gives you a reference for re-teaching ZeroTwo your preferences.
Turning memory off
If you want ZeroTwo to stop learning from conversations entirely:- Go to Settings → Personalization
- Click Memory
- Toggle the switch Off
- New conversations will not create new memories
- Existing memories will not be used as context
- Your saved memories are preserved (not deleted)
- Turning memory back on resumes using saved memories in new chats
Keeping memories accurate
Memories are only as useful as they are accurate. A few tips:- Delete memories about completed projects
- Update profile memories when your role or location changes
- Remove preference memories that no longer reflect how you work
- If ZeroTwo keeps repeating a behavior you dislike, check whether a memory is causing it and delete or edit that memory
