ZeroTwo applies a content policy to all image generation requests. This page explains what types of content are prohibited, how policy enforcement works, and guidelines for using AI-generated images responsibly.

What is not allowed

The following content is strictly prohibited in ZeroTwo image generation:
Absolutely prohibited — no exceptions:
  • CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material): Any sexually explicit content involving minors. This is strictly illegal and reported to the relevant authorities immediately. Zero tolerance.
  • Graphic violence: Images depicting realistic gore, torture, or gratuitous harm to people or animals.
  • Real person misuse: Generating sexual or compromising imagery of real, identifiable individuals without their explicit consent.
  • Fake official documents: Realistic replicas of government IDs, passports, currency, official seals, or other documents that could be used for fraud.
  • Deceptive representations: Images designed to create false impressions of real events, statements by public figures, or official communications.
  • Logo and brand misuse: Generating images that misappropriate real company logos or branding in misleading contexts.
Also restricted (may be blocked or limited):
  • Explicit adult content (restrictions vary by account settings and regional compliance)
  • Content that promotes discrimination or hatred toward protected groups
  • Imagery that glorifies illegal activities

How content policy is enforced

ZeroTwo applies a two-stage review process: 1. Prompt screening Before an image is generated, your prompt is reviewed against ZeroTwo’s content policy. Prompts containing restricted content are blocked before any generation occurs. You’ll receive an explanation of what type of content triggered the block. 2. Output review Generated images may be reviewed for policy compliance after generation. Images found to violate policy may be removed and the associated generation may not count toward your credit balance.
Policy enforcement is automated in most cases, using the same AI models that power ZeroTwo’s content understanding capabilities. Edge cases may be escalated to human review.

When a prompt is blocked

If your prompt is blocked, you’ll see an error message explaining the category of content that triggered the policy check. The message will indicate the type of issue — for example, “This prompt contains content that may depict explicit harm.” What to do:
  1. Read the error message carefully — it describes the type of content that triggered the block
  2. Revise your prompt to remove or rephrase the restricted element
  3. Generate again with the revised prompt
Most blocks are the result of ambiguous phrasing rather than genuinely prohibited intent. Rephrasing is usually sufficient to proceed. Repeat violations: Repeated attempts to circumvent content policy may trigger an account review. ZeroTwo reserves the right to limit or suspend access for accounts that consistently attempt to generate prohibited content. AI-generated images are original outputs, not copies of training data. However, some copyright considerations still apply: Generally acceptable:
  • Prompting in the style of a named artist or historical art movement (“in the style of Van Gogh’s Starry Night period”, “Art Nouveau illustration style”)
  • Referencing visual aesthetics, genres, or styles that are part of the public domain or general artistic vocabulary
Use caution with:
  • Prompts requesting exact reproductions of specific, currently-protected artworks
  • Requests to recreate trademarked logos or brand assets with intent to misuse
  • Generating content that closely mimics specific living artists’ styles for commercial use without disclosure
ZeroTwo does not represent that all AI-generated images are free from third-party intellectual property claims. You are responsible for how you use generated images in commercial or public contexts.

Safe and responsible use

Do

  • Use generated images for creative, educational, and entertainment purposes
  • Disclose when sharing AI-generated images in contexts where the distinction matters
  • Use generated imagery of people for clearly fictional or illustrative purposes
  • Report images or prompts that seem to circumvent policy

Don't

  • Generate images intended to deceive others about real events or statements
  • Use generated faces for fake identity documents or fraudulent profiles
  • Create imagery designed to harass or defame specific individuals
  • Attempt to bypass content policy through indirect phrasing or coded language

Policy updates

ZeroTwo’s content policy is subject to change as regulations, platform norms, and AI capabilities evolve. Significant policy changes will be communicated through the ZeroTwo changelog and in-app notifications. If you have questions about whether a specific use case is permitted, contact ZeroTwo support before proceeding.
